Step 1: Grab Your Pencil Pro
Make sure your Apple Pencil Pro is connected to your iPad. If it’s your first time using it, just attach it magnetically to the side of your iPad to pair.
Step 2: Open a Drawing or Notes App
Apps like Procreate, Notes, or Notability support this feature. Open one of them and get ready to draw or write.
Step 3: Squeeze the Pencil Pro
Gently press the sides of the pencil with your fingers. You'll feel a little haptic feedback (a tiny vibration), letting you know that the gesture has been registered.
Step 4: Watch the Magic Happen
By default, squeezing switches to the eraser—so if you're sketching and make a mistake, just squeeze and start erasing instantly! Some apps let you customize this action, like switching between a brush and a highlighter.
Step 5: Customize the Gesture (Optional)
