Tech Hub has a wide wealth of knowledge regarding software issues and troubleshooting. We frequently handle such issues as operating system reinstallation, camera and wi-fi issues, and freezing/crashing devices. We do not typically charge for troubleshooting services, but some more involved processes may incur a diagnostic fee of $30. Please contact us for more information.
Unlike our hardware repair services, we can broadly offer troubleshooting to most Windows and Apple laptops. We are also able to assist with software issues on some mobile devices, particularly iPads. We cannot offer any services for desktop PCs. If you are unsure if we can help troubleshoot your device, please call us to ask.
That being said, issues regarding Ohio State software such as CarmenCanvas, BuckeyeLink, and Office 365 are best directed to OSU IT. We have no power to modify permissions or passwords like the IT department does. For departments, it is frequently best to reach out to your department-specific IT.
