Tech Hub Student Project Development Grant Application Now Open

Do you have the next big tech idea? Let us help you make it reality.

The application is now open for our Spring 2016 Student Project Development Grants. Up to three grants will be awarded this semester to innovative students or student teams with a bold tech idea. We’re looking for projects that range from a creative idea, pet project, business concept or research endeavor.

To be considered for the grant, you must fill out our online application, which requires information about your project, a faculty advisor commitment form, and a project budget. The deadline to apply is February 3.

In addition to the grant award, recipients will receive several other benefits like free 3D printing at Tech Hub for grant projects, extended check-out of items in our Student Developer Kit, and features on our website.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee of Tech Hub, and ODEE staff, and students. In addition to a committee review, your peers will have a chance to help select the grant winners at a pitch presentation event. Select applicants will be asked to present their project during the week of February 22. More details about the pitch presentation event will be sent directly to those applicants.
