All Your Tech Needs Under One Roof

The WiredOut to Tech Hub transition is well underway with a slated opening in early 2015. The transition comes as WiredOut has outgrown its home in the Enarson Classrooms Building. We are hard at work finishing the expanded space around the corner to 2059 Millikin Road, near Oxley's Cafe and next to Huntington Bank. The move is an expansion in more ways than space (though the extra square footage is much needed!) WiredOut will become Tech Hub and function as more than a store.

"Tech Hub gives us the opportunity to offer a more holistic experience regarding technology to students, faculty, and staff. We want to provide a space that not only helps individuals purchase what they need, but provides opportunities to explore the future of technology," said Chris Helman, store manager.

Along with an extensive sales floor, Tech Hub has a product demo zone with bleacher-style seating. The consultation space features comfortable booths and charging stations making it a great spot to sync up for workshops or in-store training. These spaces are designed to accommodate technology-related events and can be reserved through Tech Hub.

Tech Hub will continue to offer many of the same products found at WiredOut, such as iPads and chargers, but more space means more tech. Popular brands like GoPro, Beats Audio, and FitBit will be available, along with an extended roster of Apple hardware, Android tablets and more. A technology checkout program (think Google Glass, Microsoft Kinect, and more) and 3D printing are additional exciting developments in the works for Tech Hub customers.

In addition to product sales and warranty hardware repair services, Tech Hub will be home to its own BuckeyeBar. The second location will provide additional technical support to the campus community and round out all of your tech needs under one roof.
