28 hours of four square? Not only is that a world record, but its one held by Zach Weisberg, our TechHUB staff member. We’re continuing our series of interviews with TechHUB and Zach has a whole lot more than just four square to share. This week we got the chance to talk to him about the future of Coin Card, his favorite thing about TechHUB, and the secret of finding a good study spot on campus.
What is better than ordering your computer without leaving your house? Free shipping*, obviously. Place a phone order with us through Saturday August 6 and get free shipping on all of your tech needs in plenty of time for move in. Contact us with any questions and take a look at our Apple and Dell promotions as well as our full stock of laptops , desktops and tablets.
Whoever said ‘less is more’ certainly knew nothing about our back to school bundles. Here at Tech Hub we know that going back to school often requires more than just a computer purchase; you will need backup drives to protect files, Ethernet cords if dorm Wi-Fi is spotty, and a laptop sleeve to make sure your new tools make it to class safely (and in style). This year we are taking the guesswork out of buying your campus supplies and are offering bundles to give you the best price on all the tools you need to succeed this semester....
Laptop or tablet? Apple or PC? MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. When Tech questions keep us up at night we turn to our Tech Hub employees. We are starting a new series of interviews with these tech savvy students who will share their insights into what’s new in tech, what they are interested in on campus, and where they see technologies going in the future.
This week we spoke with Alex Bungabong, and got to ask him about his experience with TechHUB, what’s new in technology and his advice to all the new incoming freshman.
It’s a Laptop, it’s a tablet, it’s a laplet? Tabtop? We’ll just stick with calling it Microsoft surface. This versatile computer goes from laptop to tablet in a snap, has high functioning digital pen capabilities, and connects seamlessly to your other devices. It can go from group project meetings, to art class, and still help you cram for that midterm you totally forgot about.
Surface is #New2osu this summer, and we’re pretty excited about it. Check out Surface and see which model is right for you:
Don’t be sad, award season isn’t over quite yet! Apple just released this year's winners of the Apple Design Awards . The awards are held each year to recognize the most innovative software produced by independent developers. In fact, not one but two of the winning apps this year were developed by college students. If that’s got you feeling inspired, learn more about the tech resources available to you during the summer . Did we mention it’s free? So remember to thank us when you’re up there accepting your Apple Design Award next year.
What did you do this summer? We have all been asked this; and then cringed internally. You may not be able to say ‘studied abroad in Rome’ or ‘went skydiving’ but you could say ‘made a 3-D phone case’ or ‘developed an app with Oculus rift’. All you have to do is try out some of the great (and did we mention, FREE) tech resources available on campus. Once you decide to stop watching Friends re-runs on Netflix. We know that’s important too.
